Alicia Derry, OD

Dr. Alicia Derry was born and raised in Southern Illinois. She earned her undergraduate degree with multiple scholarships from Milligan College in Tennessee and graduated with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry. During her training, she completed an externship at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, where she gained extensive experience in managing ocular disease
Dr. Alicia Derry is a board-certified optometrist with over 20 years of experience helping children achieve clear, healthy vision. She is known for her compassionate care, clinical expertise, and specialization in fitting specialty contact lenses for children with complex visual needs.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Optometry, reflecting her dedication to ongoing education and clinical excellence. Dr. Derry treats refractive vision conditions ,ocular surface conditions, amblyopia, and many binocular vision disorders. She currently is an investigator with an ongoing clinical study for a new amblyopia treatment.
Dr. Derry is passionate about service both locally and globally. She has volunteered with the Special Olympics Opening Eyes program, participated in international mission trips, and actively contributes to her local community through church and volunteer efforts.
Outside of work, Dr. Derry is a devoted wife and proud mother of four. She enjoys reading, supporting community outreach, and spending time with her family—values that deeply influence the care she provides every day.
